atle.g 0 Posted February 3, 2003 Recropped this image with a tighter crop, taking away some space on the left, and by that give the boat more attention. The boat is located in the darker area, and my question is: Do the boat take your attention or does you eyes goes directly to the background ? Comments and ratings are as always highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 3, 2003 Comp and color are super. A graduated ND filter would do wonders to balance the overly bright sky here. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 4, 2003 The boat, by itself, is really beautiful with its reflection. If I consider the mountains and the water to be the main subjects, the boat's play in the whole frame seems a little too large a role because its size is not tiny enough compared to the moutain. Having said that. the title seems to incidate that the boat is the main subject; in that case, the mountains have most certainly overpowered the boat in terms of weight and size. Perhaps getting a lot closer to the boat may enhance it for the title? As it is, without considering the title, I think it is a soothing and certainly scenic shot. Just some thots ... to answer your question. Link to comment
vishwa 0 Posted February 5, 2003 wonderful, Atle. The boat elevates this from being just another nice nature shot to something better. Link to comment
