Guest Guest Posted March 2, 2011 I first woud like to say the image is compelling and in its form unique to say the least. I am not sure though if the back gound is the focus of attention or the model. Seems the back ground is in very clear focus where the model is slightly blured. I would think that if you wished to reflect to the background then blur the model more. Just only my simple observation and not a critique of your work. Thanks for sharing your work... raymondborg 0 Posted March 2, 2011 Agree with JM. Very nice composition and lighting but the focusing is on the background and not on the model. Otherwise it's a superb image. Congrats. Link to comment

francois_benveniste1 0 Posted March 4, 2011 Thanks to you three. It has not escaped your expert eyes that the model is slightly blured while the backsground is sharp ( I did sharpen it, in fact ). It was a deliberate attempt. It obviously did not come through ;) Link to comment
denny_mccarthy 0 Posted March 17, 2011 A unique photo to say the least. Without the model I think is would be a very compelling photo. The color is wonderful, setting a mood much like hot chocolate, it's crisp, warm, perfect lighting, but the model detracts from it for me. I find my eye drawn to virtually everything in the photo BUT the model. I find her position to be completely unrealistic and uncomfortable and unatural. It causes a lot of confusion because I believe your intent is for us to focus on the model, but I find myself, focusing on nearly everything but. Link to comment
