That container with the flowers give this away, I think. Although they are an important element in this image, it suggests to me that this particular entrance is not used very often. Puts a whole new meaning into "being flooded" with visitors... Good one!

Peter, you're right in assuming this entrance is not very often, if at all, used. I cannot remember having seen any vessels of man-bearing capacity inside the canal system of that town. Thanks for your comment.
