I like this very much.  Would cropping off the trees at right and far left left and removing dark "specks" on left below horizon detract from the composition?

Frank, on the speck I give you right, could be cloned out. Cloning or cropping a tree ? Not sure, I think it works for me untouched.

Without stretching too much I'm sure this scene is better in B&W.  I agree that Frank's suggestions are valid but I can also understand they could mess with your artistic license.  Some viewers could object to the smaller trees being too close, in fact cut in half, by the frame lines.  It's not a deal breaker for me but I see the concern.  On viewing 'Larger' it appears these trees are coated in ice.  Certainly worth a frame or two.  But not too many lest your wife gets too far ahead of you.  :-)  Best, LM.
