Thoughts on my "feather-do"?

I had given up fishing due the the blustery, windy day, so we sat on the

rocks to enjoy our beautiful surroundings. I couldn't resist a low-down

shot of this gull, strutting his stuff along the shoreline.

W fine pose. Sounds like it really wanted your attention.  Those nasty mid-day lights can drive you nuts.

If you wanted to mess with this one I would suggest some selective adjustments to brightness and contras and a bit of dodging and burning.  You could clone out or mitigate the shiny spots but what the heck, it's the beach.

Seagulls are not the most inspiring subject around, but they are great models for practicing.

This image was slightly cropped and that is all............ I just liked his/her attitude.
