A Couple Labradors

I tried to get Winston to mirror the look of the Labrador on the

blanket I had for the backdrop. As usual, his mouth was closed, so I

had to take him out back for a couple of retrieves to get a little

pant going.

But I must say that the one in the foreground looks wonderful while the one in the background doesn't match that beauty! The front one has great real Labrador expression and colors which I can't resist! Really wonderful indeed!

Winston is a real ham!  I'm cataloging all of these methods for making dogs (and kids) perform on cue :-).  Excellent clarity and color, with the background providing a surreal touch... Excellent portrait... Mike

Thanks, everyone.  I'm always trying to think of something to use as a backdrop for a good portrait of my dogs and this just occurred to me a couple of days ago.  The thing's been folded up on the end of my couch for two years.:)
