You chose to present this picture with high contrast, it works well but I'd wish to see it without blown highlights, a bit strong on the basket and the man's body.

It is as strong as the contrast on it! I don't know what will be of it if the highlights lowered down Sorin! In one word, good as it is! MHO!

The high contrast seems to emphasize the bleakness of the scene.  Those huge glasses capture the attention perfectly.
