Katerina, What a compelling image that strikes a chord with reality and the surreal. The so simple pose supported by dramatic lighting is well thought out. The pot plant with dead plants substituting the head suggests death. But then the headless figure's pronounced spine, emphasized by the dramatic light, suggests life. It also suggests a back and frontal view. In as much as the frontal view is implied one senses a rather sensuous, if not erotic, appeal. Stunningly rich in meaning.
