sumon_mukherjee 0 Posted February 28, 2011 In this type of artistic landscape you’re really brilliant and your own images are your competitors. The linear elements in the backdrop and the curvilinear elements in the foreground are fantastic. The very small figure on the line and the small boat in the water-body, have created an artistic balance to enrich visual pleasure. The choice of shades of red and blue is poetic. Best regards. JamieK 1 Posted February 28, 2011 almost edges out "Comin' Home" from my favorites folder, but not quite. I prefer the subtlety of the earlier picture. great stuff, Volker. best, j Link to comment
alfbailey 1 Posted March 1, 2011 A beautiful combination of contours colour and light, the solitary figure accentuating the stillness and open aspect of the image, lending an atmosphere of serenity to the scene.A visual delight!RegardsAlf Link to comment

burakertem 0 Posted April 6, 2011 clear and graphical composition looking at the colors and the different elements. What makes the difference is the person walking on the beach but I´m not sure about the black spot on the water to the right above. Overall great photo. Regards, Burak Link to comment
stp 6 Posted April 6, 2011 I love the colors (blues, red, and black) and the patterns of light and dark. Two small elements make significant contributions: the small outlet from the dark blue pond, and the small, rounded wave that is approaching the shoreline; if one mentally takes those away, then the impact of the image is lessened. The single human figure provides a nice sense of scale. Very nicely done. Link to comment
