It does indeed look like Jackson Pollack. How did you throw all that paint up there? I wonder if that is where he took his inspiration from?

This is a very disorienting photo and not at all like what I usually assosciate with you. Obviously it can be viewed as a pure abstract but what fascinates me is the lack of reference. I don't know if I'm looking down or looking up, If I'm close to these trees or if I'm farther away. Are they even trees or are they twigs. And then there's the faint brown line running from the lower right diagonally upward. I'm lost.

Jack:  I think gravity is pulling to the bottom of this image. However, that is not to say it wouldn't work as well in any other orientation. I, too wonder about that reddish brown line. I don't know if it detracts or adds. This image is your mind on white and black -- or ones and zeros. I happen to be fond of Jackson Pollack and live close enough to some of his major works that I get to stand in front of them a couple of times a year.
