I took these pictures a couple of days ago. They are nesting, and sometimes fighting for the territory. Everything about them is fascinating.

An interesting capture,composition and presentation.

The heart shaped pattern formed by these herons go very well with the caption " nesting".

Another fine capture of the action these birds display. The detail is perfect as are the colors.

Very interesting and effective POV, Marina.  I like that the are at an angle.  The detail is tack sharp and the lighting is excellent.  Love the heart shape formed by their necks and beaks.
