The bird seen in the photo is bittern and its prey is field mouse. The bird

is little bit nervous because there is another hunter in the sky, a

buzzard. Also you could see in its eye there is a buzzard. Moreover,

there is sun on the buzzard’s wings. The mouse is helpless...

Very nice shot of the circle of life!

Ain't nature grand!  Gopher looks like he/she is still alive, poor little guy.

The capture itself is incredible. I guess it'd be disturbing for some becoz of birds violent kill. It's nature either way.
