The butterfly effect is a metaphor that encapsulates the concept of sensitive dependence on initial conditions in chaos theory; namely, a small change at one place in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere (Wikipedia).

Wonderful image Grigoriy!  Amazing just how sensitive the effect can be, when, in some cases, changing the eight decimal place by one digit produced an entirely different image.  That's Immediate Understanding... with visual feedback.

Grigoriy...  An interesting new turn you've taken with your photography.  While this strikes me as final approach to a space city, your title is also applicable.  The butterfly effect was first brought to my attention by the book (and I date myself some here) "A Sound of Thunder" by Ray Bradbury.  The concept has been intriguing ever since...  Good job here... Dave, now we are witnesses of this effect... short notes on Internet bring unpredictable changes on other side of the world with changes on humane society for years to come.

Also, thanks to every one for your comments.

Have you ever seen pictures of  scattered atoms, or smashed atoms after they have gone through a particle accelerator. This is what I thought of when I looked at this. Very interesting and original. I like your new work.
