critiques and suggestions...

The image is a little intense! but I like that...it's almost uncomfortable to look at because I can feel the the pain on my ear lobe (LOL). But the guys expression looks more like joy. I think the crop is perfect...makes us a part of the experience. Though The exposure was tricky, looks like the camera metered for his face wich looks perfectly exposed , her cheek is a little hot. But I really like this one Indraneel,  congrats!

Thanks Victor for your comments and kind words. This was a studio shot (a spontaneous moment after the real shoot) so the exposure was not a problem. The B/W conversion was tricky, with deciding which colors to keep etc., and IR images allow too much choice. Details on the cheek and cloth are visible in the full image, although not on this small jpeg. Many thanks... from the ratings, I thought nobody liked it...

Love this photo! The expression on his face seems so opposite of what it should be, which makes it great! Her hand on top of the head with the profile of the ring diamond frames his head nicely.

Came a little late to the party. Very cool. Given the crop, it actually looks like she is devouring a dismembered human head.

Heh.

What can you say, with the recesiomn and all, times are tough - gotta eat what you can. :D

She doesn't look like Mike Tyson!
