Great B&W landscape, everthing works, the tones... the exposure... the point of view. Very well done.

In the Ansel Adams category. The composition is superb and the tonal range is exceptional. A hearty and sincere congrats!

This beautiful image has been superbly composed Leo! The leading lines practically drag you into the image. Excellent range of tones, and lovely detail in the large version.

All the best,
Neil

Leo, this is superb.  I'm saying this after seeing (and trying to photograph) this area for the first time just a couple of weeks ago.  The composition you've chosen is wonderful, and the B&W tones are strikingly rendered.  You make me want to go back and try again.

Ahh, the tonal range...You got 'em all too.  Gorgeous piece of re-processing here.  The eye is drawn right to the center of the image and beyond so effortlessly.  Well done, Amigo!  Cheers!  Chris

Thanks Stephen and yes you are right, it's not an easy place to photograph. This was taken just before dawn, a time I know that you favor, and the contrast was, to me, optimal for this type of location. I find that after the sun comes up, the contrast and mood changes dramatically. I would love to see your take on this area and I'm looking forward it. Thanks again Stephen, I do appreciate you stopping by.
