Beautiful expression and emotion on the tuba player's face! Monotone was probably a good decision, removes all the shiny distractions and helps focus on the player. Great image!

...I chose to make this a monochrome image because it was taken at a reenactment of the battle of Olustee of 1864 - so I felt it would be more in keeping with the time. Khurshid, it is difficult to bracket a moving subject for HDR and I'm not sure there would be much to be gained - the dynamic range is well handled as it is. Cheers, RickDB

Being a fan of the brass bands and music of this period, I would have to say its excellent. Pretty authenic looking capture and what an instrument. Very nice, would have loved to have seen this.  FS
