Rockbound

Wonderful shot! the contrast in picture is very impressive. The sky is adding drama to image the light on the house and lighthouse tower the reflection of sky at water deposited at rocks shows the thought process behind image.

The most striking part is the waves crashing to the shores. I  notice some trunks or weed at lower right corner and i think picture would be better without this.

Thadd, I too enjoy lighthouses.  You have a nicely composed image here with good tonal values.  In my subjective view, I prefer seeing the image without the big "Rockbound" title and virtual frame and signature.  To me, this stuff detracts from the image.  I prefer to let the viewer infer whatever title or mood he or she conjures up.  You may be giving away the punch line, what do you think?  Don't take this as negative criticism, only as my view. Also, a little more brightness to highlight the white area of the clouds on the right would add to the image.  Still, as is, you have created a terrific seascape. Congratulations.
