Nick, what a dreamy and serene photo! I am amazed by the composition and how much a few simple shapes and colors can be so appealing at the hands of a professional. I would rate this 6/7. The only thing that keeps it from being 7 is the (slightly) excessive vignetting at the top and complete lack of detail of the structure on the bottom. I feel that makes it a little bit difficult to focus on anything in particular in the scene. Nevertheless, the shot is nearly perfect. Keep up the great work.

I presented this as a silhouette (without any details) because the house was half finished and the facade was definitely not contributing to the photo. This way the house has an almost oriental quality to it. For me the greatest feature was the unobstructed window.

I left the dark area on top in order to create a second window (in the sky) and to balance the bottom part of the photo but that's really a matter of taste...
