Christopher,

I like the idea. I would like to see quite a bit more room above her to emphasize the light coming from "above".

She needs more room in front of her so that she can be facing into the picture, not out of it.

I don't think I would include the reflection below her, It doesn't add much to the photograph's meaning or to the composition of the photograph.

The pose is a bit odd. It looks like she has a pain in her back. I realize this is a common occurrence with pregnant girls. With the light coming from above, I wonder if God is punishing her for becoming pregnant by giving her a backache?

You have your name in two places on the photograph? It would be quite appropriate to place your name (once) on a mat surrounding the photograph. Of course, Photo.net has printed your name right above the photograph. You don't want anything on the photograph that draws the viewer's eyes away from your subject.

Nice shot,

Mark

I really appreciate your time and efforts.I have an action that I run that frames my photo's and puts my name on them.I do this becuase Id like to think it slows down all of the people that copy images I googled my name a year ago and found so many of my images copied from here that I thought I should do something.

Besides being a lovely shot, this caught my attention because my pregnant daughter is visiting from Calgary for a baby shower being given in her honor.  It's her first child and will be our 1st grandchild.   I think a shot like this would be a lovely gift to the mother-to-be for enduring the 9 months of pregnancy.  :-)

The lighting is beautiful, and it gives her an almost angelic look with the diaphanous fabric at her feet.  With your name on the right margin, the placement of her in the frame looks just right to me.  Without your name there, however, it may look better to place her slightly to the right with a bit more space in front of her.  Hard to tell for sure.

Her stance doesn't bother me too much, but this is such a beautiful idea that it would be worth playing around with some other postures.  I'd love to know some the technical aspects of how you shot this!  Great work!

And finally, I don't know if I've commented on your work before, but I just quickly looked through your portfolio, and you have some really fine work there!
