dougsgraphics 0 Posted January 31, 2003 In this photo I find too much chaos and nothing really grabbing me. There is no real center of attention. In my opinion, use a larger lens and drop to the ground. Single out one bird while still showing others in the background. Look at Canada Geese (hope that link works) as an example of what I feel is a more effective shot of a situation not unlike this. Link to comment

In some way, it reminded me of those crowded penguin colony shots that we have all seen at some time, or another... Most importantly, I see this was shot on Texel!
