As streaks of light appear on the horizon, a light coming from a fisherman's

boat flickers. Taken some one hour before sunrise on a 5-minute exposure

at a lake on a drizzling dawn. The stormy moving clouds was emphasized

a little bit by applying a slight blur in the processing. Thank you for viewing

and your comments/critiques are all welcome. Please "click" image for a

Wow! that picture has a great mood! The blue tones are very alluring and the soft pastel tones gives a nice positive touch to the image. The small light of the fisherman's boat is nice anchor for the eye to settle on and is perfectly placed in your composition. The added blur works very well. An appeasing picture, very successful! Kind regards, Jan

Lester, the richness of the blue tones are beautifully offset by the bits of sunlight starting to show through. The mountain ridge adds a great interest to the horizon.

Lester, I really like this alot! How long was the exposure? Very mystical. The use of negative space really works well here. This is a beautiful place!

Thanks once again for dropping by and your comments are appreciated fully.

Mark, this was a 306 second exposure to be exact. I forgot to mention that I added a  screw-in ND4 to extend the exposure time. Thanks.

Awesome compo, editing and mood conveyed by it, Lester. Awesome blueish hues and contrasts of blurred shapes. Striking DOF. A dreamworld. Did you apply some additional filters maybe to enhance the blurred parts or a long time exposure only?

Bw, Volker

Volker, thanks for dropping by and your interest in this image honors me. Other than the long exposure I used a screw-in ND4 to extend exposure time and used "motion blur" filter slightly in the post-process. Best regards! - Lester
