I have a dilema that I need help from all of you! My face is full of little

spots, and I will like a permanent solution, should I do it now or older?

Accepting myself has many levels and kowning my inner beauty without concers for my external one will make a big diference in my future, I am determine to be a physician, an as a pediatrician, children and their parents will accept me for my competence as a profesional.  I will love to know your opinion!

I firmly believe I would have said the same if uncle Jorge hadn't do the retouch! That's regarding the aesthetic and ethic side of the problem! About the medical aspect you must ask a good and honest doctor Shelly! Don't ask the surgeon who does these operations cause he only wants to take your money, ha!

We arrieved from Cuba a few month ago. Our main goal is to acquire English and learn as much as possible about our new culture and environment. My mother and sister are a sourse of support and love. Every time I think of live back in Cuba I get mix feeling because I miss my friends and the way of life there.  However I know that I will never go back because this is the best Country in the world!

The fact that she has to share her time and love with a man is another way to learn responsability for what is!!!  Ul timately I want my Mom to have a full life and enjoy herself!!!

They are all young and beautiful and of very pleasant nature, you also did a great job photographic wise to bring the best out of them, lighting , details and skin tone and their moments all been remarkably presented here and the quality of your work makes the composition of these images and do well connecting them with the viewers.

Thank you for sharing all this work and wishing you all of the best.

Well, if all Cuban ladies are like you I can't wait to visit. This is a perfectly natural portrait.  All the ladies you have shown are very beautiful.  Go and see a Doctor and get the best advice you can.  Don't get too paranoid about yourself.  Good luck.  Noel

I am not quite sure what your rationale was for placing this image in "documentary" rather than "portraits". Documentary photography is normally used to "document" significant or historical events. This is really just a casual portrait.

Regardless, the skin tones look washed out to me, due to too much fill flash emphasis. Her skin tones also have a noticeable, at least to me, magenta-ish cast.

I used PS curves to lower the midtone values and put more of a natural skin tone into her face. Also, compared to her eyes, her teeth look somewhat yellow, so I removed that cast as well.

A lovely girl Jorge,

I like Scott's work on the color and tones so if the lady also like that look... send her to Scott  :-)

Seriously, IMHO, my daughter would likely want it removed and I would comply.   It doesn't define who she is and she should not be troubled with it if she chooses to be rid of it.

I tweaked her complexion and tone a little more Jorge and gave her skin more of a healty red glow. She is a very beautiful young woman, no doubt about that. If surgery will help her with her self image, then by all means she should do it. But never forget, for any person, who they are on the inside is far more important and lasting than who they are on the outside! Looks fade with time, but the spirit endures forever.

Very nice expression on this lovely young woman's face. You did quite well with this shot, but I see the 'tweaks' that Scott did and they truly bring out her beauty even more. I could learn a lot from him also.  Nice series of shots and 'family info' jorge, thankyou for sharing with us all. Most sincerely, Gail
