Lots of action and color Nelson.  I wonder if they are flying North or South.... 

A few hints if you don't mind;

You might try for a single bird or a closely bunched few.  A 1/250 you are going to get some significant blurring. 

If you go for the closer in flight shot, try staying above 1/1000.  A wider opening and higher ISO like f4 and ISO 400 will let you use your lens at the max 200 and you should still get sharp shots.

Birds usually like to take off into the wind so if the forces (light and wind) are being nice to you try to set yourself up with that in mind.

Steve, thanks for the tip. Actually I was taking some normal shots and all of a sudden these birds started flying,got scared of the dog. I just tried my luck to take some shots. I will try to set my camera on your recommended setting then wait ..Thanks again.
