olafdevries 0 Posted February 16, 2011 The lady has an electric driven one, at the same time she can bike as well. The accu is in that black box behind her "coated" bottom. However, these days those bikes even are much more sophisticated.Niels, great your remembering, I do like this atmosphere plus the tippical "low-land" surrounding as well..! This older objective, here used at the maximun lenght, with f5.6, hasn't much contrast by itself. Windows xp using, I did boost this up with twelve "stripes" of contrast and just one stripe saturation. Tot ziens..! :) Link to comment

olafdevries 0 Posted February 17, 2011 North east of the Netherlands. The tale plus camera is standing 200 meters from where we do live. On the other side is the ferry. Just a foggy two miles. The ferry across the Dollard, a part of the Waddenzee being the Northern inland sea with a dozen isles and also passing Germany, up to Denmark. So, after just twenty minutes Dollard going ashore, one get's welcomed in clear German..! In between our house and the harbour is the small harbour town Delfzijl. Haha.. I do like this, however Google earth is showing faster..! :) Link to comment
the_knowles_gallery 0 Posted February 18, 2011 Great shot. The fog really adds to the mood. It seems so 2 dimensional at first, then you eye finds where the cyclists turn toward the camera. That added good depth tot he shot. Well composed and well done. Link to comment
