As often is the case, hesitation with the colour version ..

There is much more visual tension in the color version. In addition to the tonal contrast in the face and cross necklace, the green in the area behind her and the orange in the scarf around her waist draw the eye. Both are good.

Thank you Jim. I often have a penchant for black and white. It is non intrusive and impersonal. 

I think the black and white works better, but that's just a personal preference. The model is an absolute knockout either way, though.

The image looks a little soft and flat to me John. A little bump in sharpness and contrast would liven it up just a bit.

The horizontal crop works, but I think a vertical crop would work too, focusing more on the model without losing a sense of "place"

Scott opinion about vertical crop seems to me a very good idea and shows better the model,I prefer the bw version,compliments for this one John.

Aesthetically pleasing, as usual in fact. Guess by integrating the background in this type of photography you are striving for a look that is more ‘natural’ - this even has a look that it has not been posed for at all. Mho only. Compliments John

Fantastic image. A clear 7 for the B&W and 6 for color. I love color images but somehow this one looks more powerful in B&W.

I love the color version as the background can give prominence to the body of the model. I also like the horizontal cut, gives a greater sense of depth.
