Good clouds. The glacier looks kind of weird, though. Probably because of the light and the little details which don't get through on my scrren.

I'm sure it was a nice photo, but wish there was a better capture of the dark areas (maybe the scan)

Wow, what a glacier! The lighting gives a very dramatic and powerful image.

Jeff it just my own view on images I make that I like a lot of dark areas in my images that counterpoint the lighter. I know that many feel differnt and ofcourse that is fine. But for me it adds a sense of mystery and makes the image more interesting to me. And of course we make our images to express our own vision on the subject matter. Thank you all for your comments!

Thanks for you comment on Icy Field. I love the balance between light and dark that pervades your photography. I agree, the darkness is needed, and adds a depth I just love. Really enjoy your work.

Whatever you did to it in the third correction process, but now it looks like an expressionistic painting.

I think the 4 dark corners makes it look like vignetting from a filter stack and doesn't look natural. Cneter of the photo is great though.

But when I did this shot I think I got a little carried away with burning in the edges of the Image. I shot this with both 35mm and 6x9 someday I will work on the6x9 version.
