k5083 1 Posted February 15, 2011 I like the rigid geometry and the red-gold color works for me too. The bricks at left complement the main structure; the apartment windows in the right background maybe not so much. Link to comment
color 3 Posted February 16, 2011 Cool shot. At first I thought it was a single image copied and supimposed on itself, then I realized it's the underside of a bridge. This would probably make a good B&W too. Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted February 25, 2011 thank you, August! if it isn't mother nature sticking a tree branch in front of an otherwise perfect waterfall shot, it's the hand of man running power lines across the steeple of a breadth of a beautiful cathederal...or in this case, sticking apartment window right in the middle of an otherwise decent bridge shot! i'm exactly the kind of idiot that has been known to spend an hour cloning out what i consider to be distracting clutter...and I promise it's the truth...i actually thought about cloning out the windows...but then i regained my senses and said...nah! jgalyon 0 Posted February 25, 2011 Chuck, I truly appreciate a visit from one of my favorite photographers. This shot is probably 4 or 5 years old...and i found it a couple of weeks ago, played with it a bit...and this is what I came up with. I totally agree that a b&w version might work very well. You may see that version posted as soon as I can catch up on a few things. thanks! john Link to comment
