Guest Guest Posted February 14, 2011 I shoot portraits but i am not an expert, very good pose and lighting, the skin texture is excellent except in the neck,is slightly overexposed.very good catchlights in the eyes and no reflections in her classes,an excellent portrait of a wise old lady.lovely work Khurshid,a 6 from me Link to comment
jerrymat 4 Posted February 14, 2011 Khurshid, You have a wonderful character study of an old woman. My only feeling of need for improvement is in the degree of contrast. This verges on being mostly highlight and dark shadows - the latter so dark that we see little detail. I copied your picture and put it in Adobe Raw (In P/S CS3) and boosted the "fill" which raised the intermediate shadows and lowered the exposure just a touch to help the highlights.Jerry Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 14, 2011 Really great portrait to my take on this image... The lighitng is perfect to give a rembrandt effect on the shadow. The clarity in the eyes the catch light the tone and back drop all combine together to make a 7 for me... MJ Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 14, 2011 Remarkable portrait of this aged lady, the lighting here is superb and so the details obtained is so fine, the colors are also vivid while the pleasant expression on the lady’s face do communicate with the viewers amazingly.Thank you my fiend for sharing it and wishing you all f the best.
