Guest Guest Posted February 13, 2011 An apparently simple picture with a lot of impact. I admire the restricted palette and subdued tones that focus attention on the waterfall and the radial symmetry of the splash where it strikes the water, the boundary of sharp focus and blur that establishes the water surface, and the backlighting that brings out the moss and the foliage. You might clone out one or two distracting light tones on the rocks at bottom center, but otherwise this is a technically excellent and one-in-a-thousand landscape. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 14, 2011 This is not simple but very powerful image the way I see it and the way this amazing fall been lit, the slow shutter speed effect on the water is remarkable here and having a major impact on the superb quality of this image and its composition.Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.
