Len, admirable composition , subtle tones and very good control of light & exposure. The image is presented with clinical precision and aesthetic appeal.

Good to have your views.  I took this one while on my way from one part of the museum to another in an effort to find something to photograph.  I think it was worth the one frame I spent on it.  :-)  Best, LM.

Morning Len,

I like the window  light and POV of this photo, but  I'm not sure about the other part of the light on the  left.I would like to clone it out,do you think it's a good idea or not?

I never gave the reflection on the left wall a thought until you mentioned it.  Feel free to have a go at this image in Photoshop & see if you like it any better without the reflection there.  I feel it is a natural part of the scene and close enough to the source to provide some balance.  Also, it, along with the reflection on the stairs, provides the all desired triangle some like to rave about.  Now we have curving lines to a vanishing point AND the triangle.  So, on my screen it stays as is.  Thanks for your valued, thought provoking opinion.  Best, LM.

Very good, love the dynamic lines and dark versus bright elements in an asymmetric yet balanced position. Reflection is no issue for me, even the almost burnt white window is perfect as counterpoint of the stairs in the lower part. There is probably some detail in the whites, with film, but it looks just perfect here

Exposure reading was taken from the middle of the step with the reflection with the dome of the incident meter pointed toward the camera.  I knew the window would blow out but wasn't worried as there was only tons of snow to be seen out there anyway.  This one pleases me more than the effort expended to take it should warrant.  Luck is good!  Best, LM.

I like it just the way it is!  Excellent composition.  Good choice for b x w.

I have a roll of  b x w film that needs processing.  When I do, I'll post some in the forum.

It is  very well composed, between the high light( upper part) and top darkness on the lower part of stairs.I like as well the angle of semi round. I wait that every minute someone will appear at the upper part going down....;-)) Sharp and "clean" work.

That 'someone' would be me.  I was on my way down when I decided to expend a frame on this scene.  Very satisfying result for my efforts.  One could equally anticipate someone appearing at the bottom on their way up.  Best, LM.

Yep, a silo.  Part of the Dufferin County Museum stuck out in the middle of farm country.  You can take the elevator to the top for a view of the countryside or walk up.  I chose the elevator for up and the stairs for down.  Guess it should have been stairway for both?  :-)  Best, LM.

You had to dig a bit to find this one.  I appreciate that.  Thanks for the effort & thanks for your observations.  Best, LM.
