this is a winter view at a river flowing through Jay Cooke State Park in

northern Minneosta this winter while I was spending the day cross

country skiing at the park

Nice image Paul.  I will have to seek out this spot if I get up to Jay Cooke State Park.  The scene is quite serene.  The tonal value of the snow and composition are excellent.  The downside is the mid-day blue sky.  I edited the image a tiny amount, adding some more sharpening and deepening the sky with the levels adjustment.  I also added a small amount of a warming filter.  An animal or person would add even more interest to this already good shot.  Congratulations to you and your camera for functioning in the cold.
