My first thought was about your choice to present it in colors, instead in B&W.

Seems the classic shot made to be monochrome, but actually with this particular colors, it's unique and of strong impact. Eyes are catched instantanely by her hands and face, the brightest part of the frame and her pose, expression have a great contrast with the ruins in the background.

GReat shot!

great image, powerful and dramatic lighting. if i may, one very small observaition: you've got a lot of space on the left with a gradient getting darker towards the left, and I would personally want to crop just a bit of the left edge. that's just me -- super work on this!

Very impressive my friend, the aged lady in foreground, the buildings in the back ground the drama type lighting and the tones are so impressive and form one superb composition of a unique atmosphere.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

This is an amazing image - that is a character study as well as a snapshot in time of culture and humanity. Love the light work with the hands and the frail, pensive and despairing mood that is so well conveyed also through composition and seeing the old ruins of a house in the background.  I am seeing perfect use of color/ saturation and tones here. Congratulations!

another brilliant image. your choice to present this in colour is a good one, although I also enjoyed your other, darker, version of earlier posts. unique perspective adds to the appeal. well done indeed

Ahmet, admirable creative work. Composition, light, exposure A1. Putting the old building as the background for the old lady , makes the image evocative and striking.

I am also wondering about the processing technique you used. Seems like maybe a layer with the old woman was done using HDR toning afterwards and with brightness and contrast, obviously.  It's effective in any case, just curious how you achieved it.
