Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 12, 2011 Looking at one of your pictures is like taking a master corse in harmonius composition and balanced tone. The light here from the brightest patch of sky to the deepest shadow is perfectly rendered. Link to comment
3m 0 Posted February 13, 2011 Gorgeous and clear composition indeed, Gunnar..! It has a desolate feeling, possibly because of the ruined house in your image. However, it is the beautiful tonal range (and yes, that delicate shimmering of light on the LHS, in the sky), which make this a really beautiful photo, imo. Link to comment
lliebl 5 Posted February 13, 2011 An absorbing photo with terrific detail, texture, and depth---each and every line as if delicately applied to the canvas from a fine point drawing pen. Beautifully done! ~~~~~L Link to comment

rekaras 0 Posted February 15, 2011 Three wonderful bw images today with exceptional tonal range. This one has less than the other two but has more esthetic impact and good detail in the shadow areas. The thumnails don't do these images credit I'm glad I decided to view the larger image. Again very good work, rek. Link to comment
drewmurphy 0 Posted February 24, 2011 Impeccable work as usual Gunnar :) I have often admired your b/w conversions and toning. This is no exception. Nice composition too. Where is it? Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted February 25, 2011 Thank you all, I very much appreciate your comments! Drew, the photo is taken in North Estonia (Pakri peninsula). This is another old Soviet military object still in ruins as it left when Soviet military forces left Estonia in the beginning of 90s. Link to comment
