I think the centering works very well here.  The contrast in tones is interesting, with a white cloud and black island sandwiching a gray mountain.  As I commented on a previous photo you posted, I wonder if a crop on the top, just above the cloud shrouding the top of the mountain, might provide a better emphasis on the three main elements of your photo.  Anything above that cloud doesn't contribute much, unlike the water below which provides important context to the photo.

The clouds make this mountain look like a volcano, excellent capture, best regards

When I first saw the thumbnail Lester, I thought it was of a Volcanoe ! Good timing for this shot.  Moody and dark, yet I like it just the way it is.  Kind regards,GAil

Stephen, I'm glad you liked the centering of the image that I purposely did for this shot. Your observation about the clouds on the top edge is a great 'tip' I'll not forget to attempt in my next image when the opportunity comes. Regards! -
