Don't let the low ratings bother you Miroslaw, they don't mean much of anything anyhow. They give you no insight whatsoever into how to improve your photography, which I have always been under the impression of a CRITIQUES forum was all about anyway.

This is a very good macro image. Very sharp, with good depth of field.

If I may make a few suggestions. The insect's head is pretty much in the middle of the frame, which makes the composition look a little static. I also think that they square crop could be better changed to more of a horizontal one to play down the really bright wihte and lavender flowers. I changed the crop, placing the insect's head off center, changing the crop to horizontal and vignetted the image somewhat to play down the brightness of the flowers. I think it brings more emphasis to the main subject, which is the insect itself.

Very nice indeed! I find the 'hair' texture above the eyes gives it life, and interactive interest. In this sense then centered placement reinforces the concentration and stability. Technically, would be interested in fstop, and lighting of the textures.
