Laugh or Scream

In photography... no one can hear you scream.

Its a very fun shot. She's a beautiful girl and there's tons of energy here all positive. Great title, evocative of Munch's great work. In terms of critique, the image seems overexposed in the hands and cheekbones. I realize this is a high-key photograph, but I still feel there is a loss of detail in those area. I see the sharpest point of focus right now as her mouth, which works, but I would have liked her eyes to be a bit sharper. Critiques aside, this is a beautifully fun image that immediately drew my eye.

You title is telling, I was trying to decide if it was a laugh or scream, or a bit of both. There is something in her eyes that says laugh so I'll stick with that.

The rainbow eye makeup is terrific. I like the use of color in general here, David. I agree with you that the highlights are fine.

People usually only scream when they first see me. After that, they usually laugh at me...
