It is far more interesting because the dog'st attention is away from the figure on the bench.  Your usual wonderful style, Tim.

I like this moment caught here,all composition creates a special mood,nice tone color too,regards.

The dog appears as a kind of apparition against the the high contrast of snow and silhouetted elements. As with many good pictures, you find yourself saying "yes, of course."

I really like the composition. I don't know if the italian expression "essere solo come un cane" (to be alone like a dog) is used in english too... anyway, this shot gives me a sense of lonelyness.
