Certainly looks determined (the eyes make this shot for me).... No question he's going to try for it....Did he make it?

Reina, two souls with the same thought :) You probbably put it a few seconds before.

I like this crop better than the original photo you previously posted. This way the image is more focused on the child and the "challenge". Grayscale also helps in being less distracted by the branches (but then you lose the nice red color of the mailbox).

Ooh, the concentration in those eyes! Striking. The motion of the right arm has also been well captured. Try printing it a little bit brighter and see what comes out.
