Lester, This is a beautiful image. I love the rock wall snaking through the foreground and the shape of the mountains in the background. The figures add a nice sense of scale to the whole image. The colors of the clouds and their reflections on the water are wonderful.

Wonderful composition Lester! The sky just sets this off; what would have been a very good image of the wall and the fisherman below even an average sky. It all came together for you here!!

Things I like less -

At first glance I thought the sharpness is rather lovely but then clicking on the larger version seemed to show me some noise. Has this been sharpened just a little too much?

There is a contemporary painter who work crops up in greetings cards an awful lot, painting vividly graphic scenes of courtship from the 1930s and 40s. I love his over emphasis on the orange, yellow and reds. As I look at your landscape, it felt as it just a little more sharpening, even to the extent of adding noise would render this into that theme of painterly. The figures into the distance make this more than just a mere landscape, something is happening in this landscape.

Despite all I say above, I find this work interesting and worthy of a look.
