peter_daalder 0 Posted January 26, 2003 Can't see any technical details in this random ratings UI, so I don't know how you imaged these geese... Looks to be on the very limit of what your camera/lens/film combination could manage in this situation. Would imagine that your original is quite acceptable, but in the process of scanning, or down-sizing for PN, you have lost a reasonable amount of detail. If this is a crop, I might have left a bit more space for the birds to fly in (i.e. towards the LH side). Link to comment
sambal 0 Posted January 26, 2003 Peter, this pic was taken in the sport setting with an exposure time of 1/1000 s, F-number 3.5, and ISO speed rating 85. It's a crop of a larger flight of geese. The sun had just risen. So, not very much light in winter time. Yes, this is about the limit what I could do with my camera. Thanks for your critique. Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted January 30, 2003 Thanks for the additional info... Very much appreciate any response on my feedback! I'll have to make a visit to your portfolio, rather than just 'judging' your photographic abilities by commenting on one image found in the random ratings queue... Please remind me, if I haven't done so by the end of next week! Link to comment
