The layered background was thought of at a moment's notice. there was our neighbor's house in the background and it just didn't do anything for the photo. Yet, I somehow wanted to do something a little different in the backgroung rather than leaving it a plain color or Gradient. My sincere thanks, Gail Link to comment

Very creative - great unity and balance in the color and overall composition, and the expression on the child's face is priceless.
