jeffl7 0 Posted February 10, 2011 Beautiful. The paled colors seep so wonderfully through this scene, transforming it into something more dream than reality. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted February 21, 2011 I find this image very appealing, the detail in the foreground and color is good, the vine growing up the tree stump where there appears to be one singular branch outcropping is very effective, almost has the appearance of a 'being' of some sort. the misty pale background works very good with the image, gives me a feeling like this is an older photo one might find in an old book or on a postcard. Very nice compostion ! Warm regards, Gail Link to comment
3m 0 Posted March 6, 2011 Yes, very beautiful, Wolfgang...! ( and this could only be in color, imo, and such beautiful tones at that!) It has a dreamlike feeling to it , and even something, somewhat mystical... And interestingly, the hanging ivy on the tree trunk feels practically like some living form of being... Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 30, 2015 This one caught my attention from the sidebar as I was looking at another of your photos. It takes a true photographer's eye to see the uniqueness and pictorial possibilities of this vine covered tree stump with its single, uplifted branch. Link to comment
