Like a powerful 3D effect, indeed the idea is too great but also the implementation is remarkable and so the DOF with the fine details obtained here which all add to the superbly worked out composition.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

Perhaps I'm too fastidious, but the true horror of this construction is the white trousers on the fireplace floor.  I know it looks pretty clean, but can it stand up to the Blazing-White-Trousers Test?  Come visit.  I want to know which of my last four critique requests is best.  I'll use it for one of my lens comparisons.  best, j

Interesting...

Is she a mini-queen or are those monster-bricks... or both?

It is no wonder that she looks befuddled!

Dave, she doesn't look befuddled, on the contrary, she is as dignified as a queen should ever be, the bricks are huge and the room is small, with very low ceiling! Any objections to the bricklayers? And I had to look in my vocabulary again because your enormous eloquence or simply because I don't speak proper English! Thank you for your input, I will tell the bricklayers to take picture of a larger wall so that the bricks would be with appropriate size!

Cheers to that dude!

Hi Pierre:

Got a good chuckle out of this. I needed it, too. Thanks. The 'Queen' looks completely oblivious to her surroundings, just like the chap on the cover of Supertramp's album 'Crisis, What Crisis?'

Ah, poor queen, how badly  you punished her. I like the idea and especially the way of execution ;)  Very well done. It is clear that a queen is a queen even when she’s inside a  jail. Her dignity never wavers :) Regards.

Pierre, Excellent work. Technically the manipulation of the perspective walls is great. I like the smooth porcelain sense of the Queen against the rouch textures of the brick and mortar. I like how the design on her shirt is roughly repeated several times in the mortar.
