Duo

Ye'ela is the singer and Jeneviev is the musician, that plays the Baroque flute. I have learned that this  Baroque flute is composed of 4 parts that are separated for packging.

Love the concept and the singer's expression. Maybe It would be better if taken from a slightly different angle to avoid the 'half face' of the musician. Congrats.

The singer is very well captured, concentrating on her song. I also think that either a slightly different angle or a shallower depth of field would have been better in this case.

I have no complain about the lighting factor of this image, it is remarkable while the image do present very original expressions if both artists, my only little issue is the face of the lady on the background not been in full and so the float been cut at the far left end, other wise this is a very powerful stage work.

Rymond and Jack, I'm glad to read your comments. Let me explain:  In the full Jerusalem theater I could not move, and the whole  Baroque  ensumble are seating one near the other,thats  was the problem, but I think that it still works out.

Earnestly captured.  My attention goes toward both sets of hands.  Having the outfits roughly the same color as the background eliminates distraction.

Lovely.  A representation of the concept of breath and song

Not easy and wonderful image, my dear friend!

The lens appears to be focused on the singers  hands or at least the clasped hands are the only thing in sharp focus in the photograph.  The second figure in the background  sits at that awkward point of being neither sharp enough to contribute to the composition nor soft enough to relegate to the background.

I like the side profile of the singer and the intense and somewhat pained expression she wears.

Amal, I think that we all are more or less dedicated to our photography, thats why we are here....;-))

Gord, you are right of course ,but as you well know, there are limitation in a concert.First they are seating very close to each other and the singer, the second I can not move even if I wanted to.....I have uploaded another vesrsion of the group ,and I have clonned out the flute musician in order to enable the singer more space...;-)) Thanks for your sharp eye and genuine impression .
