I wonder why you took this one at ISO6400 and f/22?

I am quite new at photography (only a couple of months...) The 2 things I was trying to achieve were to have enough dof so the droplets would be in focus and secondly, I wanted the background to look black and did not know how to use a flash effectively... Probably not the best settings, but after many attempts, these are the settings that gave me the best results. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

En passant, j'ai regardé ton portfolio, et découvert ces belles photos du Québec... J'habite au Texas mais je suis de Montréal et donc j'ai été agréablement surprise...

Tu as un bel avenir devant toi, une belle créativité et tu n'as pas peur d'expérimenter.

 

Pour ma part, je vais rarement au delà de f11 car cela crée de l'aberration chromatique.  Pour ce type de photo, Tu aurais pu facilement descendre à f8 avec un ISO de 800. J'inclus un lien qui explique cette notion.

En passant, mon état fétiche chez l'Arizona. Nous allons dans le désert tous les ans.  Ciel bleu mur à mur pendant quelques semaines, question de vraiment vivre l'été.

Right. Basicly your attempt is quite atractive. I personaly don't mind softness but I'd suggest more space on both sides and on the bottom. Not too much just a bit. Black BG is ok IMO. All in all its a right way to explore more. Cheers, VS

What speed and aperture did this require? Amazing sci-fi photo. 321 contact stuff. Digitally enhanced?
