wenger 0 Posted February 19, 2003 Experiment with hanging a flashlight from a string and giving it a spin. Almost all lighting is from the halo. Comments greatly appreciated. Link to comment
doug_harhai 0 Posted February 19, 2003 Thomas, a very creative way to light this. Very adorable, I wish I would have thought of this when shooting pics of my little angel! Link to comment
believe in love 0 Posted February 21, 2003 i think this pic could have been improved by using a reflector from below to get rid of the shadow under the chin. other than that, its very nice and original Link to comment

lee_do 0 Posted June 6, 2003 perhaps the halo is a bit too .. big .. but a beautyful shot anyhow .. i especially like that the baby seems to be sleeping oblivious to the fact that there is a huge halo on top of his/her head .. i believe that is exactly how a real saint would act .. nice idea and i'll deffinately try something along these lines as soon as i become a father :) Link to comment
dominiquedodge 0 Posted August 20, 2003 I have to be honest, this doesn't really work for me (I'm not getting any emotional response from it). Although it is a very unusual way to provide lighting and I admire the fact that you thought of it. I'll try to say useful things: the halo seems too big and too forward (according to my vision of halos!) and the baby's position is too slumped (as baby's are, I agree). I'd also like the face to be sharper. Looks a bit dangerous too ... wouldn't like that flash to hit. Link to comment
