I see that you have used f8 and 1/1000 at 180 mm. There is no way that those settings could have produced this shot, unless you shook the camera vigourosly while tripping the shutter.

I suggest you try the same thing again with the color tracking activated, continuous drive mode, AFc autofocus. Also, hold your breath while tripping the shutter, press the camera against your head and hold the lens firmly.

That should do it. Cheers.

Thank you Nicolaie, your advice is very helpful. I'll see what I can do. It also seems that mastering autofocus is no small task either...
