Hi Indraneel...... this is a fine capture although I have no idea what type of bird it is.

I could be wrong, but I think you dabble in PS to try to create some texture in the feathers that could result in this image being a tad too light.

Hope you don't mind my little dabble (last one - promise)

Thanks Grayham for your version, but I see that it now has a color cast. That just means the original must also have had a color cast, but not strong enough to be noticed. Guess I should have used the whibal card. As for the exposure and contrast, it does look much better now, the separation is evident. Thanks for your version, it helps. I might work on it again.
