I think it is a nice composition, the bird is well placed.  I wish it was just a touch less overexposed though.

Hi Indraneel...... yes I think it is a little "noisy". I also agree with the poster above that it is a little too light..... so I gave it a tweak in PS..... just darkened it a tad - hope you don't mind.

In South Africa (back in the day) we called them Indian Minors and I seem to recall them having colouring similar to what I hope I have achieved here.

The overall presentation is great. Well done.

Thank you Douglas and Grayham for your suggestions and example. Grayham, your coloring is accurate. I was trying to show the texture on the black fur as well, although in real life it's too dark to be seen.
