A pity about the left side, why not crop her out? The other two seem to have a conversation going and could be the theme for this image. (Actually, only the blond hair distracts, if I hide that with my finger, I like this framing very much.) A beautiful moment captured!

I like the contrast between the graceful positions of the dancers and the design rigid of the floor.

The lightness of the tutus do a same counterpoint.

The observation from Indraneel is interesting but increase the scale of the pattern of ground and made perhaps the picture lost the prevalence of these counterpoint.

Obrigado,

Miguel

I too like the contrast of the rectangular floor tiles against the 3 graceful ballerinas. The perceived slight motion blur enhances the delicate and graceful movements of the dancers. I also appreciate looking at this in color, as it fits the mood beautifully, imo, and B&W might render this too harsh looking (especially against the tiles and the black joints). Perfect square cropping too, it feels that they are about to dance out of the frame...  Beautiful and sensitive work, Gunnar..!

ciao Gunnar. what Indraneel write is right, but... what i saw first here is that the 2 girls on the right and on the left are dancing in syncrony, and i like a lot their foots. the girl in the middle seems to have lost the time...  and all this make draws an evenement, not only a composition, so i like the photo in this way

Your choice of angle creates a quite unique view of the dance scene.Causing quasi the entire frame to be filled with your subjects definitely results in a photo that has true impact on the viewer. At least in my case...compliments!

Gunnar, the light is really lovely. I really like the diagonals of the floor with the soft circular shapes of the skirts.

Really great shot.  I like that the only one in focus is the middle person.  And great light.
